Every return at Red Door Taxes passes through more than one set of hands. Here is who you will hear from during the year, and what each of us does.
Shikinah Voight
Chief Operating Officer
Shikinah runs the firm. She manages our internal operations and is the person who keeps us on time and on task, so your return moves when it is supposed to.
Emily Davidson
Head of Tax Preparation · Enrolled Agent
Emily prepares the bulk of our returns, aiming for accuracy and the best possible tax outcome for each client. As part of this, she meets with our Silver clients to plan ahead for the coming year. She also specializes in IRS representation, helping clients resolve letters and concerns. Her extensive experience working with the IRS and preparing returns is especially helpful for clients who are looking to get caught up on multiple years of filing.
Renee Dean
Head of Bookkeeping
Renee leads our bookkeeping. She brings about twenty years of accounting experience across many industries, from non-profit to for-profit, with the last ten spent in construction.
Kara Denton-Aisner
Office Manager and Client Services Coordinator
Kara brings more than ten years of experience working with small businesses to her role as office manager and client services coordinator. She is the first point of contact for clients, oversees daily office operations and document requests, and coordinates scheduling and client communications with each member of the team. Kara helps make sure every client feels welcomed, informed, and supported.
